Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) Care Center

Briana had a hard time sitting still and often got in trouble for lashing out at school. When her mom took her to the doctor, Briana was diagnosed with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Her doctor prescribed her some medicine to help with Briana’s behavior.

A month later, Briana’s mom brought her back to the doctor’s office for a follow-up visit. Briana’s doctor adjusted her treatment. Now, Briana has an easier time at school and her behavior has improved.

If you or a loved one suffer from ADHD, it’s important to follow up with your doctor. Schedule follow-up visits:

  • Within 1 month of your first diagnosis
  • 2 times within the next 6-9 months
  • Once a year after the first year

If you need help scheduling a visit or have questions about ADHD, a care manager can help. Call Member Services at 1-888-276-2020 to get started.
