Preventive health

All First Choice members should see their primary care provider (PCP) for preventive care services. Preventive care checkups help you and your family avoid illnesses. They also let your doctor find health problems early, when treatment can be most helpful.

Preventive health care can help you stay healthier throughout your life. It includes screenings, checkups and patient counseling. These services are used to prevent illnesses, disease and other health problems.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention preventive care resources tool can help you learn more about preventive care you and your loved ones need. Then, ask your doctor what health care you need to stay healthy.

• Mammography screenings
