CLAS workgroup

Select Health is committed to providing oversight to all Culturally and Linguistically Appropriate Services (CLAS) activities. Reporting to the Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) Committee by way of the Quality of Service Committee, the CLAS workgroup provides direction to Select Health’s CLAS efforts.

The CLAS workgroup is responsible for reviewing, updating, and implementing the Cultural Competence plan. The CLAS committee oversees activities, policies, and procedures that are relevant to the 15 national CLAS standards. This ensures that First Choice members are served in a way that is responsive to their cultural and linguistic needs.
